Today is a good day for an adventure. After the last year, I’m all too aware of how short life can be. I’m also very aware that my time here is limited. I am usually not the first one to sign up for a spouse group, but I did because the group here plans all sorts of outings. This morning, I’ll be kayaking to the Mokes. I borrowed this image to show you…

The Mokulua Islands are the twin islands you see in all of my pictures from Bellows. They are about a mile or so away. I am excited!
Mom may or may not be a little aggravated with me. She doesn’t like it when I go more than a few hundred feet from the shore line. Ray said he couldn’t believe I signed up since I haven’t kayaked in the ocean. Apparently us rednecks are used to calmer lake water and canoes. I’m all in for the adventure and sucking the aloha right out of this place while we’re here. I’m a little sad that Ray doesn’t get to go, not that he would want to go with a bunch of little old ladies.
The GoPro is packed. Can’t wait to share the adventure with you when I get back.
